Municipal website pricing

Prices start at $99/mo.

One fixed price for the term of your contract. No mid-year changes, no annual increases, no surprise add-ons. Tell us about your municipality and a real person will send your exact number. The number we quote is the number we bill.

Trusted by 800+ municipalities in 40 states since 2007.

1

Fixed for your term.

The price on your contract is the price for the whole term. No annual “adjustment” clause, no inflation catch-up letter, no renegotiation in year two.

2

No mid-year surprises.

We won’t change your price halfway through the year, and we don’t bill extra for support or hosting. Your board approves a number once. That’s the number.

3

Everything included.

Design, hosting, security, ADA compliance and unlimited support from real people are all in the one price. See the full list below.

What’s included in every Town Web website

Every municipality gets the same care, whether you’re a village of 800 or a city of 50,000. There is no “pro” tier hiding the good parts.

  • A website designed for your town, city or village, not a template with your logo dropped in
  • Hosting, security and maintenance
  • Unlimited support: call, email or chat and a real person answers
  • Free platform updates and new features as we release them
  • 100% mobile-friendly and ADA / Section 508 compliant
  • Communication platform: residents subscribe to email or text alerts, automatically
  • Content and file migration from your existing site
  • Free 1-on-1 training after launch, plus the knowledge base and monthly webinars
  • A dedicated account manager who knows your municipality
  • Optional add-ons priced up front: White-Glove Service (we make the website updates for you), online payments, facility booking, licenses and permits, branded or .gov email

Why we quote instead of posting a price list

Every municipality is different. A village of 800 with a five-page site and a city of 50,000 taking online payments and permit applications shouldn’t pay the same, so we ask a few questions and price your site for your municipality. That’s the whole reason for the quote form. It isn’t a trick to get you on a sales call; you’ll get a real number, and we’ll work with you on payment terms that fit your budget cycle.

Ethical pricing.

It’s perfectly legal to raise a customer’s price every year. Plenty of vendors do: an annual increase written into the contract, because someone’s board of directors needs the number to go up. We think that’s a bad way to treat a town.

Your price is fixed for the term of your contract. We won’t raise it halfway through the year, and we won’t raise it next year just because we can. If we want more of your budget, we’ll earn it by building something worth paying for. We’d rather earn your business every year than lock you in.

Pricing questions, answered

Will my price go up during my contract?

No. The price in your contract is fixed for the entire term: no annual increases, no mid-year changes. If you add optional features later, we’ll price those up front before anything changes.

Is support really unlimited, or is there a cap?

Really unlimited. Call, email or chat as often as you need for help, questions and fixes. There is no hourly billing and no ticket limit. If you’d rather we make the website updates for you, add our White-Glove Service to your agreement; it’s an optional add-on with its own fee.

Are hosting, updates and training extra?

No. Hosting, security, maintenance, platform updates, content migration and 1-on-1 training after launch are all included in your one price.

What is White-Glove Service?

White-Glove Service is an optional add-on to your agreement. Some clerks want to make every update themselves; others wear too many hats for that. Add White-Glove to your contract, for an additional fee, and we perform the website updates for you: send us the agenda, the notice, the new page or the photo, and we post it. It’s the closest thing to having a webmaster on staff without hiring one.

How do I get my exact price?

Request a quote (six quick fields about your municipality) and a real person will reply with your number. Prefer to see it first? Book a demo.
