A live demo on Zoom, 30–60 minutes, tailored to your questions and requirements. We look at real municipal websites, including ones built for municipalities like yours, the clerk’s side of the dashboard, and what it would cost for your municipality. Nothing to install, nothing to prepare.
You’ll be talking with Phil, Jerrica, Paulo, Gene or Jelena from the Town Web team: real people who do this every week, and who’ll answer the phone afterwards too.
We’re filming. It’ll be short, it’ll be us, and there won’t be a single slide in it.
60 seconds with the team: what a demo is like, minus the slides.
Every demo follows roughly the same shape, and bends around whatever you want to spend the time on.
We start with you: what you have now, what’s frustrating about it, and what prompted the call, so the rest of the demo is built around your questions and requirements.
The public side, on a live municipal website: how residents find agendas and minutes, get alerts, use the calendar, pay online. We’ll pull up Town Web customers near you so you can see what your neighbors are doing.
The dashboard you’d use every week: posting a notice, an agenda, a calendar event, sending an email/text alert. This is usually the part where people relax.
One fixed price for design, hosting, updates and unlimited support. We tell you the number for your municipality on the call and put it in writing afterwards, so you can take it to your board.
Migration, ADA, .gov, timelines, contracts, “what if we…”. Ask anything. If we don’t know, we’ll say so and find out.
What it isn’t: a slide deck, or a decision you have to make on the call. You leave with a fixed price in writing and a clear picture of what you’d be getting. The rest is up to you and your board.
You’ll get a calendar invite with the Zoom link straight away. Bring anyone you like: a fellow clerk, your administrator, a board member, IT. The calendar blocks an hour; the demo itself runs 30–60 minutes depending on your questions, and we don’t hang up until they’re all answered.
Loading the calendar. If it doesn’t appear, open the booking page in a new tab, or call 877-995-TOWN (8696).

It’s a live working session on real municipal websites, not a slide deck. You get straight answers on price and what’s included, and a quote you can take to your board. If Town Web isn’t the right fit for your municipality, we’ll tell you that too.
No. It helps to have your current website open and a sense of what frustrates you about it, plus any questions or requirements you’d like the demo built around. If there’s something you’d like us to look at beforehand (your site, a page that’s a pain to update, a technical question), email [email protected] and we’ll come prepared.
The more the merrier! Typically it’s the clerk, or whoever ends up posting notices, keeping pages updated and sending alerts day to day. It’s also a great idea to bring along anyone who’ll weigh in on the decision (a board member, mayor, administrator or manager), and IT if you have technical questions to throw at us. Groups are welcome; the calendar invite is forwardable.
We book a one-hour time slot. Most demos fit comfortably in 30 minutes, and we can run up to the full 60 depending on the questions you bring. Either way, we make sure every question is answered before we hang up.
Yes. See it yourself first if you’d like, then pick a time your board can attend. We regularly demo for committees, boards and councils over Zoom.
That’s most of the people we talk to. We’ll walk through what switching involves: we migrate your content, you review a staged site before anything goes live, and your old site stays up until the new one is ready, typically 6–8 weeks from signing to launch.
Have an RFP instead? Here’s how we handle those.
