Limited beta

Every Clerk deserves an intern. Yours can start today.

Vanteve is an AI intern for your office. It answers the questions residents ask over and over by web chat, email, and text, working from the pages and documents you already publish. Anything that needs judgment comes to you, with the resident’s details attached.

It’s free for Town Web customers during the beta. All we ask is that you tell us what’s working and what isn’t.

No form to fill out. You turn Vanteve on from your Town Web dashboard.

You already have an account. Turning it on takes a minute.

There’s nothing to apply for. Sign in to your Town Web dashboard, open Vanteve, and click Join the Beta. If your municipality isn’t in the current invite group, click Join the Waitlist and we’ll bring you in as we open spots.

No technical skills needed. We handle the connection, and Vanteve reads what you already publish on your Town Web site. Your team reviews what it found and fills the gaps. Residents can get answers the same day.

Every Clerk fields the same questions

  • Where do I get a dog license.
  • When is the next council meeting.
  • Is the transfer station open Saturday.
  • Who do I call about a pothole.

Each one deserves a real answer. Right now, each one waits for you.

Trained on your municipality, not the internet

Vanteve works from the pages, ordinances, minutes, and documents you already publish, so residents get your policy in your own words. It also improves as it runs. Every gap you fill and every question it routes makes the next answer faster.

Interns don’t guess. Neither does Vanteve.

When Vanteve isn’t confident, it says so and passes the question to your office with the resident’s contact details. Fee waivers, judgment calls, and anything with discretion stay with you.

Answering is half the job. Vanteve performs the whole task.

A resident with a question usually has a request attached. Vanteve takes both, at no extra cost during the beta.

Service requests

A resident reports a pothole or a dark streetlight. Vanteve takes the details, files the request, and routes it to the right department instead of leaving it in a voicemail.

Resident records

Every conversation attaches to a record of who asked what and when. Next week’s follow-up starts where the last one ended.

Message campaigns

Email or text an update to the residents it affects. A water main breaks on one street, and you notify those few blocks instead of the whole municipality.

That’s the difference between an intern who takes a message and one who handles it.

Good to every resident, not just the ones who can call at 10 a.m.

Your residents aren’t trying to make your day harder. They call on a lunch break, after a shift, or on the third try because they got the wrong department twice. Some read English as a second language. Most don’t know which office handles their question, so they call yours.

Vanteve answers all of them in plain language, in their own language, whenever they get a minute. It explains what an ordinance means and links to the original instead of pasting legal text into a chat window. It never tells a resident to check the website when the answer is on the website, and it never makes anyone feel like a nuisance for asking twice.

Your resident gets an answer at 9 p.m. You get your morning back.

See what your residents are actually asking

Your dashboard shows top questions, trending topics, department routing, and resident satisfaction as the questions come in.

That’s useful beyond the chat window. If forty residents ask the same thing this month, you’ve found a gap in your website. Fix it once instead of answering it forty more times. Vanteve flags the gap for you, and once your team adds the answer, it’s handled from then on.

Yuchi · Product Manager, Vanteve

Hi, I’m Yuchi, the product manager for Vanteve. If you want to know what the beta involves before you turn anything on, grab 15 on my calendar. You’ll be talking to the person who decides what we build next and who wants to make Vanteve the most helpful intern you’ve ever had.

What you get, and what we’re asking for

What you get

  • Full setup, handled by our team
  • Web chat, email, and text coverage for your residents
  • Service requests, resident records, and message campaigns at no extra cost
  • The reporting dashboard
  • A direct line to the people building the product, so your feedback shapes it

What we’re asking for

  • Turn it on and let your residents use it
  • Periodic feedback: what’s working, what’s missing, and what would make it worth paying for
  • No contract, no invoice, and no obligation to continue

We’re keeping the beta group small enough to give real attention to every Clerk inside.

Frequently asked questions

What is this beta, and what do you want from me?

We built ClerkMinutes for Clerks, and Vanteve is the next tool from the same team. Before we sell it, we want Clerks using it in real offices, so we learn what it needs. You get it free, and we ask for honest feedback as you go. This isn’t a pilot program where you pay a discounted rate. It’s free while we build.

What is this going to cost me?

Nothing during the beta. We’d rather you tell us whether this is worth your time than worry about price. We expect Vanteve to start around $99 a month at launch, and you’ll hear from us long before anything changes. Any future charge would run through your normal Town Web billing cycle, so there’s no surprise mid-year invoice to explain to your board. If you decide it isn’t for you when the beta ends, that’s fine too.

Will it give residents wrong answers?

Vanteve answers only when it’s confident and routes everything else to your office with the resident’s contact details. It works from your own published content, so it isn’t inventing policy. When it doesn’t know, it says so and flags the gap.

Does this replace anyone on my staff?

Nope! Vanteve is a junior addition to your team, not a replacement for anyone on it. It takes the repeat questions off your desk and works under your supervision. Judgment calls stay with you.

Is this the same as ClerkMinutes, and how does it work with my website?

They’re separate products from the same team. ClerkMinutes handles your meeting minutes. Vanteve handles resident questions. Vanteve connects to your Town Web site and works from what you publish there, so your website stays the foundation.
