Case Study

City of Lake Ozark

Overview

In late 2020 Town Web responded to an RFP issued by The City of Lake Ozark. Benjy, our Client Solutions Manager, also had an initial Zoom call to conduct a website demonstration that illustrates the features we offer in our template packages.

Shortly after, we were pleased to learn that we had been selected as The City of Lake Ozark’s new website provider!

Website Process

01

What we found was that The City of Lake Ozark needed a new municipal website that was designed to not only keep government operations transparent, but to also inform residents and visitors about what was going on in the community.

02

Next was the Onboarding Meeting. We discuss any technical questions that arise, if any new pages and content are needed, what information is needed to be seen above the fold, and perhaps the most fun...they got to select a new design template and color scheme!

03

Over the next few weeks, our account manager kept in touch with Harrison and Dan via email, answering questions and collecting any extra content that needed to be included on the new site. Meanwhile, our data entry specialist seamlessly migrated all of their existing content from the old site over to the new staged site.

04

Finally, it was time for the scheduled website “reveal” meeting to get feedback on the staged site. We were able to make some live edits during the meeting. And both Harrison and Dan seemed pleased, and would give the go-ahead to launch after final approval!
